A day at Seaside

The other day my mom and I went to Seaside for the day. We stopped at a boutique on the way there. I found this vintage purse I loved, but Mom hated it because she said it reminded her of a purse she had when she was younger -lol. We had a lot of fun!! We got there really early in the morning and got breakfast at the little market and I had the best cream cheese muffin : ) Then we shopped around and burned up! It was so so hot. One of our favorite stores is the glass shop where everthing is hand blown. We got Booper a cross necklace there last year for her birthday! We finished our day with lunch from the market, and we got lots of snacks for later : ) I even got the cutest dolphin sucker for Kyleigh (Chris' neice). I found panda raspberry liquorice too, that I am soooo excited to take back to my girls : )

It was a fun, fun day !!

I could write a book...

As the title hints, I could write a book about times spent with my family and all the numerous friends and boyfriends/girlfriends that trudge along. This past week I got to spend the Fourth of July with my family. There are too many stories to tell to describe this time. But I do want to take a moment to say just how blessed I am to have such a loving, wonderful family that no matter what there is always something to laugh about. I think sometimes my family is so close that we take each other for granted. But being able to share God's beautiful creation of the ocean and the shore with such beautiful people makes my heart smile. We may have all grown up and gone our separate ways with school and work, but you can still bring us together with whoever may tag along and we are still all kids at heart. Without a doubt, I think we can agree this picture says it all. However, we were all giggling so much when we took this and, for me, this picture caputures a moment in my life I will never forget!

Hiiiiiii

Welcome to my blog. I do not know how well this will go considering I will be keeping it between work and school. However, I am using this as a temporary escape from my constant desire to scrapbook every memory. Unfortunately, I do not have the time or money to keep that up. So, I hope you all enjoy reading about my life, dreams, and memories. I was just sitting here creating this and explaining to mom the difference in this and facebook and she concluded -- that I could make it "all cute and stuff." So, I hope that making it all "cute and stuff" will allow for my personality to shine through. I hope you all enjoy reading, and will reply and keep up with me, as I hope to do the same with you all.
